Updated Coupon Validation- we will no longer override CVS coupons that have surpassed the 14 day grace period.
Purchase-based coupons
When using a purchase-based coupon you must spend the required amount, after all other coupons and extrabucks have been deducted
CVS no longer accepts purchase-based coupons based on the total before coupons and extrabucks!
Example
“if you wanted to use $16 in extrabucks as well as a $4 off of $20 coupon, your subtotal would need to be a minimum of $36.00 before coupons are applied. after extrabucks and manufacture (sic) coupons, your subtotal must still be at least $20.00 for your $4 off of $20 coupon to apply to your purchase.”
Lets say;
- You Start off with $10.00 Extra Care Bucks from previous visit
- You have a $5.00/$15.00 CVS Coupon
- Your total will have to be $25.00 before you can apply the $5.00 off CVS coupon
Buy 5
Dove soap $5.00
Use $5.00/$15.00 CVS Coupon
AND
Use $10.00 ECB from previous visit
Total=$2.00 each or $10.00 for everything
Q:What happens when I want to use a coupon with a value that is higher than the amount I am purchasing?
A:You may still use the coupon; however, its value will drop down.
Example:
If you use a $2.00 coupon for a $1.99 item will result in a $1.99 coupon value off.
Q:Can I use multiple coupons within a transaction?
A:Yes
Examples:
- If you use Two $3 off $15 coupons your purchase must be $30.00 or higher.
- If you use ONE $3 off $15 coupon and $5 ExtraBucks your purchase must be $15.00 or higher.
Lets say toothpaste is On sale for $3.00
You May Use the following Coupons on this one item;
Use (1) $1.00 off toothpaste Manufacture Coupon
AND
Use (1) $2.00 off toothpaste CVS Coupon Center coupon
Q:Can I use multiple coupons on sale items?
A:Yes
Examples:
**BOGO FREE** Buy One, Get One Free
If Suave shampoo is on sale for $2.00 with a Buy One, Get One Free store promotion, you may use two coupons because you purchased 2 products.
Example:
**BOGO FREE**
BUY 2
Suave shampoo- $2.00
Use (2) $1.00/1 Suave Coupons
Total=FREE + applicable tax.
Q:How do I determine the application of sales tax on my purchase that involves
the use of a coupon?
Funded manufacturer’s/mfr’s coupons
Tax is calculated on regular price before coupons
CVS Pharmacy Coupons-ExtraBucks Rewards-ExtraSavings-coupons ExtraCare Coupon Center
Tax is calculated on the discounted price after coupons
Q:Am I limited by how many items I can buy?
A:No limit however, store managers do reserve the right to set a limit
